FAQ
What is VoqX?
VoqX is a revolutionary smart stethoscope that combines advanced auscultation capabilities with real-time AI analysis. It’s designed to enhance heart and lung diagnostic accuracy and streamline clinical workflows.
Who is VoqX designed for?
VoqX is ideal for physicians, nurses, paramedics, educators, and healthcare professionals in settings such as clinics, hospitals, home visits, and telemedicine environments.
What makes VoqX different from regular stethoscopes?
- Detects both audible and inaudible (infrasound) frequencies
- Provides AI-driven analysis of heart and lung sounds
- Offers real-time amplification, noise reduction, and recording
- Supports Bluetooth connectivity and data sharing for tele-medicine and remote care
What is infrasound and why does it matter?
Infrasound refers to sound frequencies below the human hearing range. VoqX makes these frequencies audible through its proprietary BOOST™ technology, revealing subtle diagnostic cues (like S3/S4 heart sounds) that other stethoscopes miss.
How do I switch between Heart and Lung modes?
From the main screen, simply tap the icon for Heart or Lung mode. Each is optimized for the respective frequency ranges and signal types.
How does AI enhancement work?
AI mode can be activated by swiping left or right on the screen (outside of auscultation). Once active:
- Place the chest piece on the relevant auscultation point
- Hold it steady until the progress bar completes (~8–10 seconds)
- The system then analyzes the sounds and displays a result
What are the BOOST™ and AI features? Can I use both at once?
- BOOST™ shifts infrasound into the audible range
- AI analyzes and classifies heart and lung sounds
You can use BOOST™ alone, or combine it with AI (when clinically needed) for a deeper diagnostic profile.
How long does the battery last?
The VoqX automatically sleeps after 60 seconds of inactivity and powers off after 40 minutes to conserve battery. A full charge typically supports multiple days of extensive use.
